New Beginnings

When we open our eyes in the morning and prepare to roll out of bed to begin our daily routines, we may not take time to notice just how predictable we can become. Things like brushing our teeth, applying makeup and even doing our morning "social media" check up can seem more like second nature rather than habits we have formed throughout the years. But, here is the challenge that we should give ourselves every day. As matter of fact, it is something that we already do quite often but may forget to acknowledge.
Queens, we have to remember that each morning is not obligated to us ; We do not have the power to make the sun rise to begin a new calendar day. But, we do, however, have the power to make sure that everything that we do is a representation of the good that we wish not only to ourselves but to others.
Each day we wake up we must take time to reflect on how we will make this day better than yesterdays. This doesn't mean to concentrate on the negative or positives that we faced from the previous day ; it means to map out a goal or desire that we wish to take on for the day.
Challenging ourselves to love harder, think smarter and make each day a closer stride toward reaching our end goals. Never let the sun's dismissal remind us of what darkness may be in our lives throughout the daylight. Remember to break the routine and reflect on what is ahead of you for each day, so that you can enjoy life and all the blessings that God has for you.
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
Lamentations 3:22-24 ESV
